A fun, fast-paced, start-up-Poke Bar + Grill Concept (Yes we also COOK!). We are looking for Leaders and Managers to join us! Manager and Lead positions available now so we can get you trained prior to the actual opening!

BLUE WHALE POKE BAR is looking for LONG-TERM, HIGHLY MOTIVATED, RELIABLE, FRIENDLY, and ENERGETIC employees. We offer PART-TIME and FULL-TIME positions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fresh new restaurant concept. We are looking for long-term team/family members (seasonal employees need not apply).

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Store Manager (Wage range: $20+):
– Oversees entire stores operations
– Develop & train new and current team members/managers
– Develop further leaders for the company and promote from within
– Maintain a positive company culture and work environment
– Drive sales and other financial results to meet and exceed sales goals
– Strategic planning to drive results
– Oversee performance of all team members and managers
– Utilize 5 functions of management and talent management

Assistant Manager (Wage range: $16-20):
– Develop, maintain, & monitor relationships with customers and employees

– Interview & recruit new employees
– Train team members and monitors progress
– FOH scheduling
– Monitor inventory & orders

– Handles catering orders and catering customer relations
– Create, track, and organize all catering invoices & orders
– Coordinate, prepare, & deliver catering orders
– Reports and communicates to the Store Manager for operational needs
– Further development to become a Store Manager

Kitchen Manager (Wage range: $16-20):
-Hire and trainnew BOH employees
-Overseeing and daily participation of kitchen production and operations
-Ensures food quality, food safety, and workplace safety
-Ensure BOH cleanliness and organization
-Weekly inventory and daily ordering
-Monitor recipe adherence and waste management
-Opportunity to contribute to our menu development
-BOH scheduling

Shift Lead (Wage range: $14-16):
– Serve our customers and ensuring all dining experiences are positive
– Properly train new FOH employees
– Daily opening/closing of FOH, cashing drawer handling, daily reports
– Oversee and maintain food quality, sanitation standards
– Maintains & ensure positive relationships w/ customers

REQUIREMENTS:
-Professional, hardworking and reliable
-Wants a workplace to call home (long-term and stable employment), and want to grow with us
-Must have a flexible availability and willing to work morning, nights, and weekends
-Experience is a plus but not needed, we want to train you and make you better, you just need to have an open mind and wanting to learn
